Opened in May of 2019 The 16km+ loop intergrates graveled dirt trails within the Cranbrook Community Forest with the Rotary Way paved pathway. Within the CCF, Pilisit Trail and the Cranbrook Communty Forest Connector were constructed to be part of this loop. Over 2.5 km of trail was graveled from 9th St South all the way to the Gateway trail.

Detailed Description
Cranbrook Great Trail Loop (aka Trans Canada Trail) is a 10 mile moderately popular easy route located near Cranbrook British Columbia. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 10 trails. This route climbs 552 ft with a max elevation of 3,357 ft then descends -554 ft.

Beware driving up this road, we got locked on the inside when they locked it at 4:30 as opposed to 10p as noted on signage.

Not a great trail. Half of this trail is in the city where you need to stop and start every block to cross streets. The other half is really poorly marked and you need to stop frequently to figure out where to go.

You can't go wrong with this trail, takes no effort to get to kettle lake and is the exact trail I take beginners for their first ride.
