Should take an hour at race speed or 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a social ride. Mostly Grade 3. Park at the gate at the corner of Hill Rd and 8 Mile Gate Rd.

Head up Hill Rd, 200 metres, turn right into Reservior Rd after 20m or so you should see Yellow Brick Road on the right. At the end of Yellow Brick Road turn left. You should be smiling already. Follow Sandy Skid Rd (which is a forestry road), veer right at any intersections. You should find Pondy New on the left with the exit of Pondy Downhill on the right. Ride all of Pondies into Roller Coaster. Ride all of Roller Coaster. Hooting yet? At the end of Roller Coaster turn left into Ring Rd a short distance and take Old Chevy on the right. Eyes peeled for the Old Chevy sign as it's set a tiny bit off the road and is not a regulation sign. At the end of Old Chevy, you are back to the start of Yellow Brick, bail here if you like OR (I recommend the OR) go across Hill Rd into Larch Rd and take the first road on the right which is Nice Rd. Follow Nice Rd up to Sweet & Sour trail head which is on the left. Can you see the map is a big help? If you are on Nice Rd and you hit Pipeline Rd you have gone to far. Ride all of Sweet & Sour to Red Tank Rd, hang right at the end of Sweet & Sour, after 100m or so on Red Tank Rd hook a left into Be Rude Not To - ride all of Rude but towards the end and this is a tricky bit as the exit to the left towards Mad If You Don't is not on the map. Never fear if you miss it and end up on The Wash turn left then left again onto Nursery Rd and into Mad If You Don't. If you did find the aforementioned exit then straight across the road into Mad If You Don't. All of Mad takes to to the intersection of Nursery Rd and Eight Mile Gate Rd - hook hard left down the gravel road which runs onto the tarseal road. Look for Ball and Chain - the connector trail on the left - this will keep you off the road. Watch out for logging trucks. It would be the ultimate in bad karma to get run over along here. All done. Ha... wasn't that great. Praise to the Trail Making Gods.
