Crovuri route

This route gets you to Upper Cerna Glades, known as Crovuri. In fact, these are the biggest sinkholes in the entire country. The scenery is great, with spectacular karst landforms all over the place and views towards the deep valleys of Cerna and Coșuștea.

Route tips:
- you can leave multiple cars at the start of the trail;
- you have a small shop at the start, but it's not well supplied, so it's better to bring food;
- the climb towards Beletina is long and has some pretty hard push-bike sections;
- two small springs along the way, one on the Stairway to Beletina trail, near a sheepfold and one on Beletina - Gâtu Porcului, on a short climb. The second one can be dry during summer;
- also a lot of water sources on the final descent, as you pass multiple creeks;
- very technical descent from the place known as Gâtu Porcului to Medved glade (Berus trail). Loose rocks and tight switchbacks.
- the final descent has only a few technical sections, being generally fast:
- you can ride this in wet conditions, as the soil is mostly rocky. The only parts where mud is possible are near the end of climb to Beletina;
- the best time to ride it would be in spring and autumn, being very hot in the summer
- there are some sheepfold (one on the climb and two on the descent) with aggressive dogs, need to be careful there
