Ride at your own risk, and within your means! And wear your freggin helmet! (Kali Protectives recommended!)

Starting in downtown SLO (Pepper Street has unlimited parking free) and heading North on Monterey, you will merge onto the 101 highway and climb the shoulder for 2.5 miles before veering off the right side exit that is marked with a big "Bike Path" sign. This will run you under the 101 to the West side of the freeway and onto Stagecoach Road. Turning into gravel almost immediately, you will climb another mile of light to moderate grade before you hit the serious grades. Then, at the 6 mile mark or so, you will arrive at the paved road and parking turnout from the 101 onto TV Tower road. Continue on this paved climb for another mile and you will come to a fork in the road, taking the left side to a gate. Continue down the trail until you come to the loose gravel fork and continue West into the descent of Shooters. Hang on and have fun! When you get to the bottom of this loose, windy and fast trail, you can enjoy some runs in the Eucs! This is skill park area, with jumps, berms and wooden walls/bridges to have fun on.

Continue down the Stenner Flow or Elevator Trails to the Railroad tracks. Once here, you have the option to continue West for a shorter ride down Stenner Creek, or turn left and gain some miles and views along the railroad tracks back to the Stagecoach Trail...you will have to take the trail back when you run out of a path on the East side of the ridge.

Have fun, keep the rubber side down!

The trail is clear now. Rode it South to North - not a lot of fun but a great workout. One fence to hop.
