this is a roughly 25km route, best for seasoned cyclocross riders, or for beginning mountain/hybrid riders. Regrettably the map (b/c of the way I built it) cannot show you how to get thru Thorncliffe Park, which basically requires your own improvisation. Also, when it gets to Edward Gardens, this map does not know how to find the path down to Wilket Creek Trail.

Trail The Flats
Tall grass, blind corners, very skinny paths. Lots of pedestrians and dogs, it’s like driving on the 401. Can be fun

This trail is a great alternative to Pottery Road Climb when it's muddy out. Never gets muddy because its not dirt

Not sure why the twists on the downhill section were removed as now it's just a straight line down to the hard right. Seems pointless and I expect people are just going to bomb this route even faster now.

Trail CPR
Thin trail that follows the old CPR rails. Branches and bigger tree logs might be blocking the track at some points.

BlurredLines (Sep 6, 2016 at 5:23)
The stretch that runs from the lot down into wicket creek is handled by the Botanical Gardens and is signed "no cycling" among other activities. No one seems overly concerned if you hook left immediately where the Wicket Creek trail southbound begins as this is the only access to the north end of Wicket Creek that doesn't go directly through the gardens.
