Annual Group Ride Goes Solo
For the past 4 years out of our house we have hosted friends for coffee, treats and a 50km gravel ride on the North Shore. We wanted to do it big this year, but the world had different plans. Let's keep the tradition alive by getting out on your bike to complete the almost 50km ride, but this year you have an entire week to finish.
Take the course at your own pace or do it all in one go

Choose your own adventure as long as you abide by BC Health Regulations and play safe out on the trails. Stop by and say hi pre or post ride! #dontbeastranger

As of July 5, 2020 this trail is inaccessible, as it’s been closed by the parks board.

This is closed south of Hydraulic, it’s forces you back onto a service road not meant for riders. Otherwise you have to hoof it back up hydraulic to the main paved path

The paved public road goes farther than the GPS track shows, it ends at a fence just before the dam. www.metrovancouver.org/services/parks/ParksPublications/LSCR_MAPFeb2016.pdf There are also gravel roads in the park that are open for public riding, see map linked above.

Trail Serra's
What is going on with the name of this trail? Called Serra's on here, called Diamond on District signs and website?

I changed it too both directions. It's a fairly flat trail, but heading north towards the lake you defiantly are going up.

OK cool, thanks!

Would this be a suitable and scenic route for tourist? Was thinking of biking half way up with them on the Seymour Valley Trail way and go down on Hydraulic Connector (if possible) and the Fisherman's Trail.

Any feedback/suggestion for flat trails is welcome, tia! ;-)

Yah it not a bad ride, You can go all the way to the lake pretty fast, the Seymour Valley trailway is paved.

This is a perfect tourist trail. You can also go up on Spur 4 to the Seymour dam and come back via the Old Growth Trail and back onto the Demo Forest Rd. Easy going in all directions.

Appears to be officially open. No more signs or barriers. Note that the washout area is not ridable as they have built a few bridges and a hiking trail around it. So not closed, but you have to hike the bike for a couple of minutes. Photo is of new signage and new bridges.
