High Point

Linking Foran Grade, Windy Point, and Death Valley Trail as a loop. The trail is primarily used by hikers and horseback. Not as well groomed as Bragg Creek trails but no crowds either. Amazing views, fast downhills, great climbs. Highly enjoyable ride. Loop ends with a 2km return on the paved road.

Death Valley- Windy Point

Windy Point on the front side and Death Valley Link are in great shape. The ride down from Windy Point into Death Valley and the Death Valley Loop are a mess. Various natural springs have resulted in associated mud sections which the been deepened (in sections up to my knees) by horses and cattle, making various areas a struggle to ride. Also, some genius has taken their Rhino type ATV on Death Valley Loop (and area trails) and deepened several sections of the trail that have drainage issues to the point where I was forced to walk. The ATV has also damaged much of the trail as the wide wheel base of the ATV was not even close to the single track type trail that was there...it is a shame as this can be a nice trail with some great views.
