The various sections of Muddy Branch Trail are nice single track flow through the woods with some small stream crossings. Evenly up and down without any extended climbs. Modestly traveled.

This is a fun and generally smooth trail with some nice climbs and several easy river crossings. There are certain sections with raised roots that one should be careful of, but beyond that, it is a good trail for the beginner to intermediate rider. The advanced rider will enjoy the many opportunities to get some air on the undulating sections and descend at break-neck speed (if so desired) on the steep sections.

The best part of this trail is that there are generally not that many walkers, so it is quiet. Additionally, the scenery is beautiful and there are many stops along the river plus thick forested sections. The trail also connects with the full Muddy Branch system which is endless.
