The top of Bobsled is a challenging piece of trail.

The classic Bobsled loop. Park at Popperton, ride up Dry Creek to the Shoreline Trail (great views of Salt Lake), and drop down Bobsled to 11th Ave, and back to Popperton. Takes about an hour (give or take). A great loop for a quick after-work ride right in the city. Be warned: the climb up Dry Creek might wind you on a full DH bike, but this loop is a dream on a trail bike. Everything is easy-intermediate EXCEPT Bobsled, which is a solid "black diamond" trail (especially the top section). Intermediate/XC riders might prefer to keep going to City Creek.

Anyone want to get together to do some maintenance? Vegetation needs to be trimmed back on almost the entire thing, large very loose rocks need to be tossed, jumps broken and rutted out.
Very fun trail back in the day, it’s been over 10 years since I have ridden it, and Saturday I crashed 7 times going down it largely due to the above mentioned things.

Trail is sick, little rutted out at the top, so easy on the brakes, especially up top. This trail has something for everyone, from small doubles and tables to massive gaps you can work up to. Had a blast!

If you lost a jacket on this trail some time between Oct 26-29, 2020, send an email to sarakyeo@yahoo.com and describe the brand, color, and what's in its pockets to get it back!

Rode this trail for the first time today and it is in my top 10 non-lift trails.

Ridiculous, flowy berms, big drops, jumps made out of cars?? What more could you want out of a trail?

Can’t wait to come back here with a few friends and session the lower section.

I’ve never seen so many wasps in 1 spot in my life. Right around the first rut drop in the upper 1/3. I don’t know how I didn’t get stung.

Be careful out there, a rider informed me before o dropped in that there was a bunch of wasps around the creek bed. And he wasn’t wrong, there’s a huge swarm that you either need to bomb through or wear long sleeves for. Other than that what a great run.

If the top wasn't so washed out it'd be a great overall trail. Still gave it a 5 star though. Ready fun, high berms all the way down the gully.

Most fun trail in the area. Fast half pipe like in the summer, still a blast with 5" of fresh snow (bring a fat bike - like my $360 Mongoose Juneau, cheap but effective).

The trail is pretty fun. Nothing too crazy except one area with tons of large rocks. Could see how that area would cause some issues. Just noting, it seems most people go up this. It is much more fun going down. So, if going down - be ready to have to slow down in some of the blind corners/turns.
