Some sections are on the road so beware of traffic. The southern half of the trail is maintained by Toronto and the northern half by Mississauga.

Following the Etobicoke Creek from Lake Ontario to just past Pearson Airport. This route is for beginners. Most of the route is wide paved trail or wide gravel trail with the exception of one incomplete area near Centennial park which the city hasn't finished yet. Lots of things to see along the way such as Salmon jumping the dam in October, various birds and animals. You may encounter deer early in the morning. Near the airport you're just at the end of a runway and can see jets taking off or landing.
