You still have to ride alongside Steve Irwin Way which is a fast and busy road but there is a wide shoulder and you can also ride on the inside of the safety rail.

Another loop around the Ewen Maddock Dam that includes the Ferny forest trails. You can add on as many loops of Ferny Forest trails as you want before proceeding onto the road and back to Maddock Park.

Is this all off road or some travel on Steve Erwin Way/other roads?

You have to ride on Steve Erwin way twice and on the Mooloolah Connection road once. Not much shoulder on Mooloolah connection road in places.

SEQ currently have closed the main entrance, meaning you have to ride further up Ewan Maddock and enter on the main track, these sections can be a little steep for newcomers so either walk them or ride a little further down the road and there's another entrance to the wider doubel track section of the track adjacent to Greenacres Ct
