This is the first time the Enduro World Series has visited Samoens, which sits high in the French Alps. Expect a classic French style enduro, racing will take place over two days with just one practice run per stage. The tracks will be long, but riders will have the advantage of lift access to give their legs a break between taking on the steep, rugged and technical Alpine terrain.

Around half way down there has been some tree felling which has destroyed the trail in part. Around 25% is gone and the rest is a bit neglected. Shame as it was one of the highlights in the area.
