Trail Kung Fu Walrus
Pretty good argument for making this a G5. It’s just as technical, maybe even more so than it’s G5 neighbour Te Ahi Manawa, and overall steeper.

Trail is in mint condition. The trail builders have added a lot of sand to eliminate the puddles and bogs. It has reduced the technicality of the trail but after all the rain we've had recently - you can't tell cos the trail is really dry due to the sand.

Trail Turkish Delight
Tried to ride this from the top of Pig Track, but it looks like it's been destroyed as part of recent logging work. The same with Soakhole. A shame, they were great tracks.

A great trail with lots of technical rooty sections to challenge your skills, hats off to the zen masters that can ride it without putting a foot down or getting off to push over an obstacle.

Trail Bush Road
Where Bush road joins Buchanan Road it was very difficult to spot. Rode past it twice before having a really good look and then managed to find it. At this intersection it is a very narrow track. (You couldn’t drive a vehicle up it. It’s very narrow and definitely wouldn’t describe it as a Road! Further up it did widen to an overgrown 4x4 track.

Awesome trail through natives. Three parts, two that flow and mid section more cross country with some nice challenging rooty climbs

Trail Frontal Lobotomy
Rode this today while on our way to Shark v Eagle.
Posted as Grade 2 but I would not recommended to anybody who cannot manage grade 3. It is a knarly climb and challenging in places and probably should be a G3 when you looking at Grade 3 description. The track was otherwise in good order

Trail Tihi o Tawa
This is a G4 trail by any definition and should be labelled as such. It’s a bit rich that Whaki ‘G3’ and this trail have the same grading. What’s the point if trails aren’t graded properly?

Trail Eastern Spice
Superb top section with challenging natural drops - bottom section has scary but attainable gaps jumps - later ones are less confronting than the initial ones.

Great ride, it's a 3-4 grade but very manageable if you take care. There is a rooted section but not to hard

Best track at whakarewarewa. Not for the faint of heart, but fun as hell. Hillbilly front, minion SS rear. 2018 transition patrol with -1deg angleset.

Trail The Tickler
I really enjoyed the top(downhill) section of the tickler. After about 2.5-3 minutes or so the trail starts to flatten out in sections meaning you need to get those legs pumping again. Felt a bit tedious after 5 hours of riding.Would be a good ride if you still had ample energy in the tank or where after a quick fix

Trail North Face
I had trouble finding this trail. Take the Eastern Spice enterence off Corridor which then shows the North Face option.

What has happened?! Roots removed from the trail, now a smooth flow trail, likely a Grade 2 now! Such a shame!

Think this is closed for logging. Was there last week and the sign said that the trees were coming down starting January 16. Bummer.
