This beginner friendly route at Marshall Mesa at the Flatirons Vista Trailhead has great views of - you guessed it - the Flatirons The full route is about 80% singletrack and the area is open to cattle grazing.

Start at the trailhead and keep taking lefts until you get on Flatirons Vista South by the little pond. This trail is mellow singletrack, follow it for 0.8 miles then take the right on Prairie Vista. You'll encounter some rockier areas and then be treated to a fun swoopy downhill back to the pond. This inner loop is about 2 miles and is all singletrack. The next loop is more challenging and has a gravel road section.

If you are ready for more, make a left onto Flatirons Vista Rd. You'll immediately hit a steep, loose hill - don't worry, it's not very long and it's the worst part of the ride. Follow this road for a mile, then take a left on Flatiron Vista South. This section is a bit rubbly and bumpy but doesn't have any big climbs. You'll come back around to the intersection with Prairie Vista. Since you already descended this trail in the first loop, this ride has you continue on Flatiron Vista South back to the trailhead.

For a more intermediate level ride in terms of technical features, elevation change and distance, you can tack on a Doudy Draw to Springbrook lollipop.
