Swamp volunteers have been busy since October clearing storm damage from Hurricane Irma. Most trails are open and navigable now but some are still on the rough side from all the hog damage. Swamp volunteers will be working this weekend 12/16 to clear 10 large tree falls from Panther trail and get that trail open again. Our main trail workday is always the first Saturday of every month. We have many additional workdays right now trying to finish the storm clean up. Many of these trails were 4-5 feet under water for two months.

I dont believe this loop is anywhere near 1853ft of elevation gain/descent. More like a few hundred total.
