Girona - Gavarres: MTB adventure to Balcó de les Bruixes

This is an exciting mountain bike ride in the Gavarres natural area just outside Girona, which goes to several interesting viewpoints. Among them is the Balcó de les Bruixes, or "Balcony of the Witches", a natural rock balcony overlooking the entire Gavarres natural reserve. The peak “Cim de Montaligar” is also on the route, where there are views to the sea, a large flagpole and a book for brave visitors to write in. There is a lot of singletrack, some packed gravel roads and packed gravel bike paths, and three main climbs. This is an expert level ride, for mountain bikers with good technical ability.
