Sunshine Coast Challenge Course - Day 2 - This day will test your mettle with 44km and over 1500m of elevation gain from Sechelt to the Langdale ferry! But don't worry - take it easy and enjoy our single track trails that has made mountain biking on the Sunshine Coast world class. From Porpoise Bay Park you'll ride along Inlet Road to Dusty Road. Its not a gentle climb - but its paved - so lock out that suspension and hammer! Our first singletrack awaits, BLT, which is great flowy downhill to the Chapman Creek trail. Make sure to stop at the new bridge across Chapman Creek to take some beautiful pictures. A quick hill to top spits the rider out to the airport where you'll ride a gentle climbing logging to Honeybee. Then left up another quick logging road climb and then onto Blazing Saddles, up El Dorado/Ripped Nipple. Once on Witch's Brew, we'll stay almost level to slightly downhill for a good half hour along Trailfest/Wagon road to Up & Around, Guy's Gulch and HWY 103. Halfway along Hwy 103 - pat yourself on the back - cause its all downhill from there (well generally downhill Wink ) Hwy 102/Sidewinder is a 30min ultra flowy and fast downhill. Hooting and hollering will make you go faster on this trail! Once into Spockids, the trails change into bermed corners, and pump humps! Then we dive into the Lunge trail to cross over Langdale creek then into new singletrack all the way down to the ferry. You'll need to pinch yourself once you arrive at the ferry to make sure that ride wasn't a dream.

Summer 2013: first year living in burnaby, and the riding here is decent. There is a few free ride lines, but very few downhill lines due to it...
