This segment of the GWT goes around the front side of Mt. Timpanogos, from American Fork Canyon (Timpooneke Campground) to Provo Canyon (Nunn's Park).

Detailed Description
Great Western Trail: Timpanogos Segment is a 18 mile moderately popular expert route located near Orem Utah. This hike primary route can be used both directions and has a extreme overall physical rating. This route includes 19 trails. This route climbs 5,266 ft with a max elevation of 8,684 ft then descends -2,975 ft.
