High Point

Take this bruiser of a trail all the way up to Greenie Peak, the highest drivable pass in New Mexico.
The trail begins at the beginning of Mallette Road in Red river. Climb several miles to the top of Sawmill pass for a blazing descent down to Cabresto Creek. Take Cabresto Creek east until you get to the Midnight Meadows area. Look for the Greenie Peak sign on the right hand side of the road. Do the final climb to Greenie Peak and relax knowing your are a beast for accomplishing the 6000ft of elevation gain. Descend on the trail just south east of Greenie peak. The trail can be extremely rough in this area so just ride with caution. A map or GPS is highly recommended for this section. Navigate the roads until you find Sawmill Pass for the final descent.
