This is a collection of my favorite trails in Grouse Ridge North that link together well and involve no road. Start is at the Lonely Meadows trail head, easiest to get a car to. Turn off Bowman Rd shortly after pavement ends, mostly stay left on the dirt road for about 5-8 min. From the trailhead take the right or East side of Lonely Meadows trail, stay left past the bridge. Take a right on Bowman Mountain trail, don't get fooled by following a cow trail off the actual trail, I did 2 of 4 times. At top put on pads if you are the type for the double black down hill, but make sure to enjoy the view from the top. The amount of hike-a-bike is rider dependent, but there is going to be some here and later. Take a left on Lyndsay Lake trail and stay left or straight at the intersection for Crooked Lakes or Penn Lake, stay on Lyndsay Lake trail. Enjoy the flowing downhill it's AMAZING. Take a right on Grouse Ridge and climb to the next intersection taking a left on Glacier Lake trail. There's going to be some hike-a-bike, but the trail and views are amazing. Once at GL, turn around and enjoy the opposite of what you just did, it's totally different.... Don't take Bowman Mountain trail back but rather continue straight on Lindsay Lake taking a right on Bull Pen at a huge sign. Watch for hidden bowling balls, but enjoy the downhill. At Lonely Meadows, take a left and enjoy the flowing trail back to the parking lot.
