This is the third part of the Alpes Provence Great Crossing for mtb, created with the help of the french cycling federation.

Here we find a more reasonable profile on this section. With the path on the plateau of the Col Saint Jean alternating technical trail, discovery of the preserved lake of St Léger and the small hamlets of the country of Seyne. The most technical part of the route is around the chapel of La Salette, between the hamlets of Risolet and Chapelle.

This section marks the departure of the Blanche valley to go to the Pays Dignois. After a climb to the Charcherie pass, the route follows a pleasant path that descends to the bottom of the valley and reaches a few kilometers further from the village of Verdaches.

This route could have been called the path of the hamlets. By borrowing the old roads passing through the passes, this stretch allows to discover some hamlets still inhabited, Boullard picturesque hamlets partially restored, and the locality of the now abandoned Bouse. The mountain bike will take all his pleasure in the beautiful descent after Boullard and his few Black Lands!
