This is the sixth part of the TransVerdon Great Crossing for mtb, created with the help of the french cycling federation.

From Moustiers Sainte Marie the route descends to the Sainte-Croix lake for a well-deserved swim before climbing to the Valensole plateau. This last difficulty crossed, the course is extended by a path on tracks, in the middle of lavender fields, until the orientation table overlooking the lake and the village of Sainte Croix du Verdon.

The route takes advantage of the altitude gained during the last stretch to offer a beautiful descent to the outlet of the gorge of Beaudinard, fantastic place and little frequented ... The route then runs along 3 lakes before crossing the village of Saint Laurent from the Verdon and back to the plateau. One last descent and you join the charming village of Quinson where is one of the largest museums in Europe dedicated to prehistory.
