Parking is on power on the West side of the road. Optionally, by Walgreens or the Park and ride further south on Power. Drop in on Hawes and take a right for instant gratification down some nice downhill trail. Cross a few washes and begin a rolling climb that intensifies, grants a few short downhill sections and then pitches up to an almost ridiculous grade with water bars to up the ante. Pace yourself. Enjoy a mostly downhill section and take a left on Saddle. Soon after take the first right to hop onto upper secret. You can take a short out and back on Magic Mountain and check out a rock feature. Roll cautiously down upper secret as there are two steep sections. The second is quite steep with a good line on the left - just don't get snagged on the tree. Another climb will put you at the top of Secret. This starts a great downhill section with roller coaster trail, small rock drops, a few jumps and steep switchbacks. After the switchback you will climb up to the top of Saguaro, aka Mine Shaft. There are old mine shafts in the area. Two are close to the trail, so use caution. The downhill has some steep downhill and tight switchbacks. Near the end, there is a tight right turn with a 2ft rock drop. After this comes some light climbing and then a moderate crank to the top of pride rock/social hill. Another excellent downhill section ends in a rock wash with a strenuous climb on the far side. Get up and out, cross the road and you are done
