High Point

Drop down from Echo Summit and skirt the mountainside on a delightful single track before a long ascent up the largely-unused South Upper Truckee Rd. Don't lose heart This is the least fun part. Some gentle ascending remains on the Big Meadows TRT section (which does in fact pass through lovely, big meadows) before a fun downhill through Christmas Valley. You can add an out-and-back section to Dardanelles Lake if you're looking for a mid-run dip. Finish with the stick of the lollipop heading back up Hawley from whence you came.

No huge panoramas, but a scenic and enjoyable route nonetheless!

E-bike status unknown.

2 large trees that fell on the trail, you will have to lift or walk your bike around those. At the bottom the vegetation is really dense and is to the point where you can see about 2-4ft of trail in front of you. There are also small sticks on the trail so beware of those not being launch by your tire and hitting you or your bike. Apart from that all clear, waterfall is fully dry

With the combination of moderately heavy foot traffic and steep rock gardens I had to walk most of the way up this. (I am not a very accomplished mountain bike rider.) But it is short, and once you reach Big Meadow the trails are awesome from there on. This is rideable on the way down,
