There is a gate on Louis hill. Please inform us when you are planning to run this route and we can either make sure the gate is unlocked or we can give you the key on arrival at Hayterdale.

The Hayterdale 21km Trail run is meant for those runners who want to challenge themselves while having the most spectacular views that Zuurberg has to offer available to them. The route uses a lot of single track trails that our shared with our mountain bike trails, but is designed with trail runners in mind. The route include trails like Louise Hill which is too steep for most mountain bikers but provide views that I'm sure you will appreciate.
This route is used for the Hayterdale Classic Trail run and is enjoyed by all who participates.
