We used this route for a group ride on 5-3-22. It was a great route so we will use it again for our group ride on 5-9-23.
Most of the uphill on this route is on doubletrack, most of the downhill is on singletrack. Overall its not too steep. The steepest climbing grades are found on the last climb heading back up to the parking lot.
Detailed Description
HCC Group Ride - Pipestone Loop is a 6 mile popular intermediate route located near Whitehall Montana. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 798 ft with a max elevation of 5,528 ft then descends -808 ft.
