Detailed Description
Head for the Hills Trail Route is a 18 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Morden Manitoba. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 868 ft with a max elevation of 1,400 ft then descends -776 ft.

One wash-out area on a steep hill. It is relatively dry now so rideable on the down for experienced riders but readily walkable for the uninitiated. Also several large old poplars down on the trail at about the mid section which will require a chain saw.

Lots of small to midsize deadfall littering the trail after the storm wind yesterday. I cleared about 80% of it by hand. Trail is hard packed and mostly dry so ran well on the return leg after clearing the litter.
