These are multi-use trails and are very popular with hikers, dog walkers, and families with small children. Watch your speed on the Main Loop as it is gravel and has some blind corners.

This route will take you to all the goods that Henry's Woods has to offer. Climbing up the Main Loop will get you to the Plateau Trail and beautiful views of Whiteface Mountain. Then back to the Main Loop down to the Rocky Knob Trail. A tough claim is rewarded with more scenic views and a fun downhill trail with rock features including a long rock spine. Climb back up the Main Loop to the Plateau Trail and Finish with a rip down the Switchback Trail to the Main Loop and down to the parking lot.

Fun trails and punchy climbs make this a great quick ride or add on to a ride in Lake Placid. Depending on your fitness level (and how long you spend admiring the views) this ride will take between 45 - 90 minutes. It's a lot of climbing at first, but it's totally worth it.
