Good trail to add to a Lake hodges endurance/xc day or as a connector to Penasquitos or Black Mountain. The switchbacks were definitely not made for mountain bikes, which is kind of what makes them fun. Definitely gives you a lot of practice in track standing, bunny hopping, and slow motion maneuvering both up and down the switchbacks

This was a really great trail. We came on a Sunday, and although they were plenty of people, it was actually nice to have other riders to say Hi too. A pretty simple and beginner friendly blue trail, but also with some fun dips and jumps that can be used or avoided.

Weekdays are the best times to come. Hardly an one on the trail

Tree down across the trail. Be careful if you’re riding the trail west to east (down the hill) as it comes up quick.
