This route starts near to the Beare Green village shop and the local cafe, then goes North past Holmwood Rail Station (no trains on a Sunday) Right into Moorhurst Lane follow to Anstie Lane turn Right and head uphill this will get the heart racing. At Coldharbour village leave the metal road and head uphill towards the cricket field and on folowing the Byway to Lieth Hill Tower. From the Tower head west on the access track to Lieth Hill road, turn Left then at next junction turn Right into Tanhurst lane (quite a hairy downhill in the wet). At the B2126 turn Left and follow throught Furnace green, look out for the entrance to the Bridleway. Follow the bridleway to Mole Street, turn Right and follow until Pisley Farm track at the ford depending on the river depth it is possible to ride through there is also a foot bridge. follow through to Green lane Junction. Follow the green lane south to the metaled road, turn Left then Left again at the next junction look out for the bridleway entrance which is poorly manitained follow across the fields to woods and then past farm to main road. Cross over and follow farm tracks through to Weare Street, Cross over and head down the slope on the bridleway and follow passed Holbrook farm and on to Weare Street Turn Right and follow unto the B2126 head noth at at the sharp Left turn Turn Right into the drive way and follow bridleway to the A24 cross over and take the bridleway through to the metal road, turn Left and follow back to the A24 and to the Start point.
