High Point

A good long climb from Panorama's main village up the summer service road (expect maintenance and rescue vehicle traffic).Stay on the service road indicated on Trailforks and follow Summit Access signs that start where the Hopeful Adventure Route leaves Mercy Me. Once you reach the summit, head south east into Taynton bowl. Follow the Summit to Hopeful signs. Single track from the end of the winter ski area boundary takes you past Goldie Lake to a pass where you will find the old McKay Outfitter's cabins. After a right turn and a few hundred meters your 5.7 km single track descent begins. Hopeful Adventure is primarily located within the Panorama Mountain Resort Controlled Recreation Area (CRA), Motorized vehicles are prohibited. Visit www.panoramaresort.com/cra for more detail.
