Hot On Your Heels Race Course 2017. Riders will start from well up the Ring Creek FSR and head up the road to the beginning of the new section of Stl'lhalem Sintl' (Legacy Climb). Riders will then hit their first stage -

Meadow of The Grizzly (Spélhxen tl'a Stl'lhalem). The start of stage 1 will begin at the wooden gate crossover so that we avoid climbers crossing over the race course. The end of the timed stage will be just before the clear cut.

Then riders will turn right and over the new Loggers Crossing bridge and up Skookum to the second stage -

IMBA Smart. IMBA will be run in it's entire length.

From there riders will loop back over the Loggers Crossing bridge and up to the third stage -

Angry Midget. Both the straight shot and go around will be open. The finish will be the riders left line (not the rocky exit) which exits onto the FSR further down the road

Then right and back up the Ring Creek FSR to the fourth and final stage -

Hybrid into Mcloud. Unfortunately the mapping for this one is slightly off, riders will exit Hybrid onto a slight bit of Recycle and the bermy exit then a quick sprint into Mcloud

Careful on the bridge where it intersects Half Nelson - the downhill part of the bridge is missing supports on the right hand side, and it looks quite wobbly coming down. I was able to jam some temporary supports in there in the meantime, and I've notified SORCA.

It's built very well and is still super smooth and fresh. Runs great. A few braking bumps here and there... to be expected in these conditions. Some nice sticky dirt in the woods. Bone dry and dusty through the clear cut. If you love berms and only berms, check it out. If, like me you get bored of berms quickly, spend your climbing energy elsewhere.
