Did this as a climb up to Mine trail. Pretty easy climb for the most part. A couple loose sandy sections to pedal through.

This is a very enjoyable downhill run. You can keep really good speed the whole way down and plenty of tech sections.

After the massive thunderstorm this week be careful. Patches of sand, ruts and other unexpected changes. Fun to ride, a different challenge!

Trails marked “No E bikes”, but E bikes are everywhere here. If you ride here, be prepared to get buzzed on the uphill climbs by groups of e bikes motoring up to the fun downhill trails.

Perfect XC-style climb, no tech, just keep pedaling! Fairly moderate start, gets a little more intense through the switchbacks at the top.

Fun trail, flowy and fast. will make you wish you worked on your switchbacks more! Black rating is probably a little overkill - it's got some steep sections, but not much for technical moves.

Smooth for a black, will probably get a bit more smooth with more people riding. Road at night, good view of the city. Nice areas 2/3 the way through to zone out, let the gong go off in your head, birds chirping, pump a little here, a little there, and just shred

The East side of this trail is NOT flowy whatsoever, more of rocky, don’t fall to your death. At least for beginner riders trying to get into that intermediate blue trail scene. I couldn’t wait to reach Granite trail to actually be able to get on my bike again.

Fun trail, with a good of loop to do laps of. Definitely would call it a blue though. Would be nice if they built some more difficult features as alternative lines. Also watch out for the runoff ditches towards the bottom, they're pretty deep and can buck you if your carrying speed.

A lot of work is being done on this trail. It doesn’t follow the original route in certain sections, so it is somewhat confusing right now, but as nature retakes the old sections, it will be easy to follow. The new sections have a lot of switchbacks that are still pretty fresh with somewhat deep gravel that is a real energy suck to climb. I did it from East to West to get to Goat, so the climb was a bit of a grind, but all doable. Coming down the old version was fun, but the new sections make this far better. Recommend doing it as a downhill; West to East.

Trail High Noon
West to East: punchy ups and downs as you climb. A few of those ups are a bit technical but not too hard.
East to West: a slower than expected descent due to many off camber turns where your front tire easily desires to slide out! Keep your front tire properly weighted and pick a good line to increase the flow factor!

Not sure what Spanky54 is referring to. High Noon is very sustainable, lots of grade reversals, no ruts, no erosion, holding up very well over the last few years. Maybe he’s talking about the trail above it that was decommissioned by Tonto NF.

I parked at the NRA Pit trail head. Rode down into the pit which is very close to the parking area. I tried the big hip jump but it was too much for me. Then I went up the main trial from the big hip jump and found several easy jump lines and hard ones. A little ways up and off to the left a trail shoots off. That's it, Lance's Trail. It heads up to Lone Mountain or Bulldog Trail head, a big square dirt parking lot. I rode up and back down. Its short but before I did it I checked out some of many jump trails and pedaled to the top for some down hill action. Then you can get a workout, super fun, go ride.

Trail Lower Hawes
Finally a real mountain bike trail. The rocks have been cleared, berms are somewhat dug, lots of switchbacks and some really fun sections. I am tired of biking on hiking trails. The technical climbing was the funnest part but it kicked my butt. After about 6 little 20 foot climbs I was spent. I parked on the West end of this Hawes out and back trail. Coming from the 202 there was like 6 parking spaces on the left about a 1/2 mile before the trail on Powers Rd.

Enjoyable trail. Great views. Easiest to go from East to west. It can be a part of a great green/blue loop by starting at Goldfield parking lot. Have to hoof it up a couple of miles on Usery Hwy but pretty wide bike lane. Then this stretch (Wild Horse) to Bush. Then go East 1 mile to Phon D Sutton. Then take trail to Coon Bluff horse parking, cross Coon Bluff road and take main trail back to Goldfield lot. 10.2 miles.

Probably my favorite trail in the park. It is definitely difficult, but if you really crave a challenge, there are 2 steep sections towards the middle of the trail. Both have a fairly easy low line, and a difficult high line. At the top there is an old mineshaft, but I'm pretty sure someone relived themselves in there. The views are also pretty awesome.

From the East (Usery Hwy) expect a bit of a rocky climb not far from the trailhead. Inconvenient but not technical for intermediate riders like myself. Several choices as to which trails to take do recommend using a GPS app the first time. Gives one a little extra trail time vs the trailhead for Wild Horse. Super views and mostly down hill going towards Bush/Power. Would definitely call the first part intermediate.
