One long rock garden. No flow. Derailure crusher opportunities on every turn.

Sounds like someone didn't have a great time. I got my ass kicked, and walked a lot of Upper Ahab, but to say this doesn't have flow is wrong. Lower Ahab has flow if you let it roll and can link up the sections

This trail is like that girl you dated in college who you knew was going to destroy you but it was useless to resist. This is an advanced trail. This requires fitness. It’s probably one of the hardest things an average mountain biker will ever ride. It’s also an absolute kick in the pants. The last 2 miles are very intimidating with steep drops and sharp little rises but once you see how the trail builders have laid out very roll-able lines down and up, you can let go and enjoy. This should be on your life list of rides to do.

A must every time I visit Moab! It's definitely technical and there is more climbing than you would think, but Ahab is a classic trail. If you have questions, here's a full write-up www.twowheeledwanderer.com/posts/captain-ahab-moab
