High Point

A great point to point with a mostly road climb up to Access Juniper ridge. The road is washed out near 23, so still 2000' on the Road.

Rode NF29 to Dark Meddows to Juniper Ridge (South to North) and Tounge Mtn back to the car. The graph on my Android was backwards (or the start and finish dots are wrong) so all the ups were downs and the downs were up. Still super worth it if you like hike a bikes and a wicked descent into Tounge Mtn and Tounge Mtn itself.

The road is apparently washed out and not passable by car

It’s a steep and narrow moto trail that’s pretty much unridable uphill. I had to push my bike from behind since there was too much brush along the trail. The views are nice though and the lookout trail is fairly short. When going northbound take the lower trail and then go back to reach the lookout. I think it’s and easier option. But don’t have any illusions you are pushing either way.

Recently brushed and in the best condition ever! Still some dust thru the steep rough sections but the lower, flow part is superb. Go ride it!
