The 2019 Jupiter Peak Steeplechase is a trail running race takes competitors up to the top of Jupiter Peak using mostly singletrack mixed with summer resort access roads.
This is a Park City favorite presented by La Sportiva, bringing elite athletes as well as weekend warriors to Park City from all over the country. With an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” (for vertical) this race is not for the faint of heart! This race is also the second stop in the Triple Trail Challenge.
Detailed Description
Jupiter Peak Steeple Chase is a 16 mile intermediate race route located near Park City Utah. This trail running primary route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 23 trails. This route climbs 3,262 ft with a max elevation of 9,984 ft then descends -3,338 ft.
