This is a nice trip that consists of about 50% paths and 50% gravel road. The route passes Hemsö Fortress where those who want can go on a guided tour or eat at the restaurant which has fantastic views.
When you have cycled two thirds of the route and entered the Havstrailen section, there will be a short rock section where you should walk with the bike.

The route both starts and ends at Hemsö Kajak & MTB's rental. There you'll both find parking lots and can also ask for directions or local tips from their kind and helpful guides.

Detailed Description
Kalla Kriget Runt is a 10 mile popular red route located near Härnösand. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 736 ft with a max elevation of 427 ft then descends -737 ft.
