The Kokopelli Trail is a classic route from the Kokopelli Trail system in Fruita Colorado to the famous Porcupine Rim in Moab Utah. Historically this has been a route that is mostly double track and graded roads. Over the years more singletrack trails have been built in Fruita and Moab. This route takes you off the classic dirt roads onto singletrack wherever possible. It includes more of the Western Rim and turns you onto the UPS (Upper Porcupine Singletrack) earlier then the classic route.

The route is book ended by popular singletrack riding areas, but the bulk of the ride is still on double track and dirt roads as it always has been. But with no shortage of breathtaking scenery and unique rock formations and cliff top views, the ride is far from boring.

This is not a cellphone recorded route, this route was meticulously simplified and corrected against hundreds of ride logs. Unnecessary points and overlaps have been removed to optimize the GPX download file size so that it will not be too big for most GPS units, while maintaining accuracy within the ridelog heatmap.

One section through the rockfall section has a couple rocks floating above space where the ground underneath has eroded away. Still rideable, but mental. reporter
