After the first few bouncy km it is a fun trail with something for everyone. Exposure, rock gardens, small switchbacks…I liked the overall XC nature of it with no big climbs or descents for a change. Ridden June 18 2021, no idea how to change ride date when commenting weeks afterward.

Ridden clockwise, so you end in the parking lot. Use Wendy’s Wiggle to avoid most of the downed trees. Nice ride through the forest, some exposure you wouldn’t want to fall down.

Perfect conditions. All the downed trees were mostly on the road up. A few big trees down along the river ridgeline. Also saw 3 black bears on the road up.

This trail started out great. Sailing through pastures about to burst with wildflowers. And it got even better when I hit the new berms that were put it followed by a nice Rollercoaster along the river. And then BAM! Nothing but downed trees. Huge evergreens. Totally uprooted. Had to hack my way out for almost 7km trying to keep going forward instead of doubling back. Must have been one hell of a wind storm. Did this ride Sunday June 18 2017. I would go back if it gets cleaned up.
