This is the funnest sections of the Laguna State Park. It says black diamonds but only Laguna Ridge is a legit black diamond...the rest are whatever but fun. Just not that since the fire Laguna Ridge trail has been closed...up to you if you wanna risk the fine, but it is the best segment of the ride).

Overall good shape but the DH section at beginning is getting very rutted and tons of braking bumps. Not nearly as smooth as it was a few months ago. Need some rain and a little raking methinks!

Lack of coastal moisture has allowed the bypass lines to grow as the local vegetation dies. Increased numbers of riders hiking up the trail has also increased the width and decreased the difficulty through the rock-drop section. Requires some TLC to re-establish the trail with a clear uphill and downhill path and allow vegetation to fill the gaps. reporter
