This trail has worked itself in well. Some good flow with tight and flat turns. My favorite trail in the park!

Doesn't flow well and not technical enough to make up for the lack of flow. I prefer all the other trails at this park other than the gravel road

There is good flow to be found on this trail. We are working on it, there are some rollers that don't really roll, more like speedbumps, and the creek now needs work, but it's a great little addition. Hope you can make it out to help at the next trail day. Those of us involved in building it realize it isn't perfect but we don't have unlimited time or material to make it perfect. Over time it will be tweaked. Meanwhile watch for trail day announcements and enjoy this NEW trail!!

Thanks for the comments, Will. We have been on a bit of a roll lately in creating speed bumps that were supposed to be rollers. Maya culpa! We'll get those reshaped in time. In my experience, it does take time to get a new hand-built trail to flow the way you want and it also requires a bit of skill. With a little bit of reshaping, though, the MGT has the line and contour to be an awesome, flowy trail. It will be a tighter flow, though, both horizontally and vertically, than the other trails in the park. That was a deliberate decision in the design. Once the temps drop back to reasonable levels for trailwork, we'll definitely be getting back to it. And the creek crossing was washed out on July 8 - that's something we'll be getting after very soon. Check the MORE and LF Bike Park facebook pages for trail work dates.

Thank you Frank and Tony for designing and hosting 9 trail work days to build this trail in time for the dedication during MORE's NoVA Spring Fling.
