This route showcases the best of what Mackinac has to offer in a 20 mile route. Away from the chaos of downtown, you will traverse over ever-changing terrain through pristine preserved forests all while bringing you to the most popular destinations along the way. Designed utilizing a vast amount of the islands single-track and optimized for the most descending possible for a 20 miler. Do not be fooled though, you will have to earn those descents with comparable elevation gain. Fitting for the more skilled rider as it includes some of the most challenging trails on the island. These sections can easily be opted out of without major change in the route. The majority of the mileage is on intermediate trails. Along this route you will find a plethora of sights and attractions including Arch Rock, Sugar Loaf, Fort Holmes, British Landing, Eagle Point Cave, Skull Cave, Sunset Rock, Robinson's Folly, Fort Mackinac, Surrey Hill, and many more.

THIS ROUTE CONTAINS BLACK AND DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND TRAILS. These sections are extremely challenging and NOT for beginners. Plan your re routes accordingly using TrailForks as a guide and read trail descriptions if you are unsure. It is smart to pick up a map of the island from one of many locations downtown to use as a reference along with this app.
