High Point

This full loop of Makara Peak utilises easy and intermediate grade tracks and includes crossing the 72m Wild at Heart swing bridge on the way to the summit. It then uses fast flowy single track back to the main car park on South Karori Road.

With plenty of spots to stop to admire views and native bush (and catch your breath) it's the best option for riders who have tested themselves on the lower peak and are keen to make it up to the summit.

First attempt filming myself out on the trails. A dusty, loose Peak Flow towards the back end of a dry summer.
