Park on the south side of the Shasta Dam visitors parking lot. Head south on the road for 100 yards and the trail starts to your right.
-0 miles, Start down upper sac ditch trail
-5.1 miles, Turn left and follow signs up to Chamise peak
-6.3 miles, Turn left up towards Chamise peak
-6.4 miles keep left
-7.3 miles, you are on the top
-8.3 miles turn right head down to Upper Sac Ditch Trail
-8.4 miles keep right
-9.6 miles keep straight onto Upper Sac Ditch Trail headed to Shasta Dam
-14.7 miles, you are back at the trailhead at Shasta Dam
