This out and back route starts on the South Burnett Rail Trail at Memerambi and heads along Recreation Drive to Gordonbrook Dam day use area. This route is a mixture of bitumen road and dirt backroads. There are a couple of short sharp rises getting into and out of the Dam picnic area. At Gordonbrook Dam there are toilet facilities and picnic tables (no drinkable water), and a bird hide for those budding bird watchers. There are mountain bike trails to explore at the dam.
