If you live in Mirrormont, do a solid for the planet and your legs by trying out this loop accessed from the West side climb. The beginning is a fairly awful climb, but rest easy knowing that once you hit Iverson, it only gets better. Take a break once you get down Iverson before climbing Master Link and Quick Link to the NOTG entrance, and ride through it until you reach the OTG/NOTG junction. They both exit at the same place, so pick one, ride it, then take Fully Rigid into Joy Ride and NW Timber to get back to the parking lot, and head back home on Iverson. If you're too tired to ride more singletrack, you can take the fire road instead and do about half the elevation for that stretch. This is accessed by going past the gate you see on the way to the top parking space and continuing back to Mirrormont.

A couple of spots with some slippery roots. The one diamond option is just steep’ish and muddy. Nothing to worry about for most blue riders.

My route was Master Link --> Quick Link --> NOTG --> Crossover Rd --> Bail Out --> Preston RR --> Extra Terrestrial --> back to Crossover Rd --> Predator.
If you're on these trails in the next few days/weeks and see it, shoot me a text at 802-299-9433 and I'll buy you a beer or six. Cheers fellas!!

O juju iiiii was our last week in juju for

No one cares if you think it’s a blue or black; this trail is wicked fun, just go and ride it!

Especially after the trail maintenance this year, there are no mandatory gaps or drops, there is no section where you can't come to a complete stop without issue, and the trail still works just fine if you aren't able to carry speed.
Remy Metailler can find 40 foot gaps with sniper landings on blue trails in Whistler Bike Park, that doesn't make them pro lines.

The bottom part of Off The Grid has little flow and is to filled with switchbacks to flat sections.

My only concern with the Tiger mountain riding area is the difficulty ratings seem to be a bit inflated. This trail feels squarely like an Intermediate, and nothing that I saw from POV videos makes Predator look like a double black. But maybe that's a good thing if it keeps unprepared people off the trails? shrug

Overall, NTT is rated Green, but it still has a few sections that will challenge novice riders. I've yet to see anyone successfully ride the big root ball in the uphill (East) direction. And same root ball in the downhill (West) direction back to parking lot is definitely a Blue trail feature. Roll it or drop it, and don't look down to your left! Also, the rock garden near the West end of the trail is more challenging riding uphill (heading West).

Overall experience, didn't like NW Timber very much. Almost no descent/downhill sections. A lot of climbing, including very steep sections that pop of nowhere (eg. right after a rocky/rooty patch).
