Ride out the club gates over the district road onto the marked routes. Turn right over the road again and onto the marked trail leading parallel with the dirt and then tar road. The trail leads under the tar road after which you turn right and ride over the Historical Bridge. Turn left into the newly established plantations. Follow the route markers onto grasslands and over a few streams, keeping an eye out for the left turn at “Benno Boy” 2.6km. Continue through the grassland and along the river – which you cross after turning left at 4.8km. You need to climb over the gate and cross the district road to pick up the trail the other side. This is where the big climb ”Bubble & Skweek” of the route starts! At the top join “Zille” and ride through to the timber loading-zone at 9.8km. Join the single-track in front of you and ride through to “Fawlty Towers”, which contains some technical sections. After crossing the stream you glide onto a forestry road. Watch for a left turn at “Mattison’s” after passing a homestead. Then follow markers whilst enjoying “Sams Slide” after which you will take a sharp left and back into the single-track where at the 16km mark you join a magnificent piece of fast flowing “Brusier’s Burn”. A short climb will bring you to the Sappi/Shafton road where you turn right and climb up towards the Curry’s Post (tar) road. Just before the tar road turn left onto “Bernies Bundle” and the “Carnival” – truly amazing trails that will have you whooping like you did as a kid on a water slide. After the “Carnival” turn right onto a forestry road and watch out for the next left onto “Back of Beyond” at 20.8 km (for those looking for more of a challenge take “Puff Adder” a little further on) Both routes will join at “No Balls” – the next section of single-track. Turn left over the road and up to the airstrip. The trail leads off to the right and then joins with “Flatters”. After crossing the tar road, at the loading-zone turn left back down to the club, or you can also link up with the marked 20km route at the loading zone and extend your ride.
