Starting from Tapitalle Rd it is sealed on the uphill to the base of Emery's Road, continue along fire trail to Tallowa Dam Rd - 10km sealed then back over Mt Scanzi and return on Budgong Rd which is again gravel through to Emery's Road.
Around 60km total from Cambewarra or North Nowra, it's a fairly challenging ride with plenty of climbing, on a quiet gravel road for the most part.
Very scenic - lots of lookouts along the way although most are a bit off this loop
