The preferred way to ride Mr Toad's is with a shuttle. Get dropped off at the rim trail on CA-89. Then ride the rim trail over to Mr Toad's and then down. Another alternative, which is less rocky, is to continue on the rim trail to Armstrong Pass and then go down which connects to Armstrong Trail, Corral Trail and others.

First mile and 1/2 has patchy snow, slow going. a little trouble finding the trail at the top. rest is great
