High Point

Maybe the easiest true alpine ride you'll ever do. You can shuttle from Fort Fizzle on Hwy 12 up to the Carlton Ridge trailhead. Some hardy souls ride the dirt road climb.

This area recently burned, so it's a special experience to be up there. The dirt shimmers with decomposed granite on a sunny day. It's also a 4,000 ft, technical descent.
